   Diversity Fund Grants:

The Resource Development Council and Vale have established a Diversity Fund as part of the Long Harbour Nickle Processing Plant Agreement.  The fund provides grants for “under represented groups” who meet the criteria established by the Diversity Committee.

The UA Training Centre has received approval to offer a limited number of seats to qualifying people in the following entry level programs.

  • Plumber

Grants up to the amount of $10,000 each are available to eligible persons who meet the entrance requirements of the chosen program.  They must not qualify for other forms of non-repayable funding in addition to approval from the Diversity Committee.  These grants are for tuition only and all other costs will be the responsibility of the student.
