Due to the uncertainty of the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic and current limitations on the provision of testing services, we submitted a request to the Engineering and Inspection Division of Service NL for an extension on welder certification.
We are pleased to report that Service NL has granted our request for a 3 month extension to pressure welders’ continuity until August 1, 2020. This means that any pressure welder who completes a permitted job will qualify to have their continuity extended for up to 9 months or until August 1st, whichever comes first. Extensions will be evaluated on a case by case basis through the normal job permitting process.
